As an agrarian state, agrarian reform is an important issue for Indonesia. The facts show that agrarian reform is not only an effort to save agrarian resources as productive land but also as a language revitalization in Indonesia. This qualitative study examined some quantitative data that have been collected by official government and private institutions. In an effort to see the process of language revitalization through agrarian reform, the data and the anthropological linguistic approach were synthesized. The result of this study indicates that agrarian reform is closely attached to language revitalization because culture is a system that is inherent in the life process of society so that agrarian reform has become a mission to save agrarian, cultural, and linguistic resources.
