Abstract

Close information system becomes a barrier for people to access information about the Keraton Yogyakarta. In this open and digital era, the Tepas Tadha Yekti (a division in the system of the Keraton administration) led by GKR Hayu has made the cultural information about the Keraton open. This paper is a report about how the Keraton Yogyakarta has brought its cultural information via an open information system through digital media Facebook. This report also presents online responses on the presence of the Facebook of the Keraton Yogyakarta in 2016.
